About Us

Welcome to Air Quality Hampshire! Our project is focused on creating a common platform to share and view data related to air pollution in the South of the UK, specifically in Hampshire. The website serves as the first step in this ongoing initiative. At a later stage, we aim to analyze and further explore this data to better understand the impact of air pollution in the region.

Our team is led by Professor Christina Vanderwel, whose expertise and leadership guide our research efforts.

We are also fortunate to have two talented interns working on the development of the website: Muhammad Ahmed, a bachelor's student in Computer Science, and Chun Kee Tham (Tommy), a master's student in Mechanical Engineering. The project is further supported by Mathews George, a Research Fellow specializing in time series analysis of air pollution data. Through this platform, we hope to contribute to the growing understanding of air pollution and its effects on our environment and health.
